Portions of the City Code of Ordinances deal with the responsibilities of property owners and residents pertaining to the health, safety and appearance of their property. This is done in order to ensure a uniform standard for the community as a whole. Unsafe or hazardous conditions, blight, overgrown property or conditions that create a public nuisance or eyesore are in violation of the City Ordinances.
