About the Commission

Duties & Responsibilities

The purpose for which the golf commission was created and established is to plan, organize and direct all managerial and operational functions necessary for the successful operation of Pine Shores Golf Club in the city.

Membership

 All members of the Pine Shores golf commission shall be resident electors for the prescribed term of office. The residency requirement may be waived as provided in the Charter. Any member of the council, employee of the city or officer thereof may serve on the commission. The mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council, or the council acting on its own motion, may appoint members to staggered terms of office of the Pine Shores golf commission, as provided by the bylaws thereof.  No member of the Pine Shores golf commission shall receive compensation as such, but the city council may authorize payment of reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by any such member in the performance of authorized business of the Pine Shores golf commission.

Dates & Times

The Golf Commission meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00PM. Meetings are held at the Pine Shores Golf Course: 515 Fred W Moore Hwy, St Clair, MI 48079.
