Starting the week of September 22nd, Duke’s Root Control will be performing the cleaning and visual inspection of all sanitary sewers between the St. Clair River and 10th Street and between Vine Street and Jay Street. This program will allow the City to obtain a better understanding of the physical condition of the sewers, identify locations of structural defects and be able to prioritize future sewer rehabilitation work necessary to continually maintain a fully operational sanitary sewer system. Notices will be hand delivered at least one working day prior to starting a new location. The work in each location should be complete within a day or 2 of the notification handout.
