Our Citizens Police Reporting System allows you to submit a report about an incident that has occurred in the City of St. Clair. The following types of incidents can be reported on-line:
To assist officers in their investigation of non-emergency calls, please contact us while the incident is in progress, or as soon as possible afterward. Do not wait to report it at a later time.
Per Ordinance 2025-01, ORV’s (Off-Road vehicles ie. Golf Carts etc) are permitted on local streets per compliance with the Ordinance including registration, insurance coverage and meeting vehicle safety requirements. Contact the St. Clair Police Department to schedule inspection of your vehicle, submit a one-time ORV registration and recieve your required decal and map of permitted areas.

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) establishes a citizen’s legal right to access government records and information upon request. Citizens may submit requests for City of St. Clair Police Department public records under FOIA by making a request, in writing. The standard form (below) is not required however will assist you in describing the subject matter of the documents requested and how you would like to receive them.

Our 3rd Annual Citizens Academy will meet every Tuesday, from 6pm – 9pm beginning
February 10, 2026 and will end on April 28th. (There will be no class on March 31th for spring
break)
Our program has been very popular and helps citizens to become informed and familiar with all aspects of Law Enforcement. Classes are primarily held in the City Council Chambers at St. Clair City Hall, but some classes will meet off site in order to provide an expanded
experience of what encompasses our Law Enforcement profession.
