Public Comment open: Clean Water State Revolving Fund

4/22/25: The public comment period to provide comments prior to the submission of the application has now closed.  However, comments will still be accepted by Administration and City Council up to and throughout the project. The City will hold a public meeting for the purpose of receiving public comments and input regarding the proposed Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Planning Document. The public meeting will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 547 N. Carney Dr, St Clair, MI 48079. The Project Plan focuses on improving reliability of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and sewer collection system to safely convey and treat wastewater. The proposed projects include: Improvements at the wastewater treatment plant to improve worker safety, equipment reliability, and compliance with water quality standards. Improvements in the sewer collection system to improve backup electrical power. Improvements in the sewer collection system to extend the reliability and life of the sewer system.
